Danielle Levoit
Danielle Levoit is the program officer for the environment at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. She works across the program’s grant portfolio with the primary goals of diversifying the conservation workforce and supporting a long-term and sustainable agriculture system in the Tri-State area.
Prior to joining the foundation in 2015, Levoit spent seven years at the Robertson Foundation working with grantees in the foundation’s environmental and education areas. Previously, she also volunteered with the Peace Corps to develop small businesses in Benin, West Africa.
Levoit holds a Master of Public Administration degree in public and nonprofit management and policy from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from NYU’s Stern School of Business. She currently serves on the board of the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, a nonprofit that supports her neighborhood park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
