To expand the role of UCLA Performing Arts as a major commissioner and presenter of innovative programs, to augment its programs for younger audiences, to increase collaborations with regional and national presenters, to strengthen educational outreach programs, to work with UCLA's Program on Digital Cultures - Latin American Center to help performing artists explore the impact of "new technologies" on their work, and to augment the UCLA Performing Arts endowment with $1.5 million to be matched on a one-to-one basis over 5 years.
